October 2019

Ecclesiastes 11:4 -- "Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap."

As writers and artists of all genres we very much enjoy feeling the wind and watching the clouds; yet, if it stopped there the world would have no books, songs, newspapers, blogs . . . nothing written down for others to read. There wouldn't be a Bible full of God's wisdom and instruction for us to live by. There would be no music to work by, to motivate. It would be a hungry, less than productive world.

September's meeting was very fulfilling as well as entertaining; a very wonderful beginning to a new season for WWCWG. We even limbered up our writing fingers from their summer vacation. Just in time for October's follow-up, as it looks like everyone will have opportunity to do some more writing during the meeting! Please check out the schedule for more information.

WRITING PROMPT: Many picture a utopian world being one without work. Write a beginning chapter of a utopia in our present known world, which would include work.
