March 2017

Post date: Mar 9, 2017 3:19:46 AM

This month's newsletter, written by Patti Nicholson:

Spring, according to the calendar, will arrive on March 20th of this year.

We've had hints recently of the changing seasons with some rain and

even thunderstorms. Daylight Savings Time will begin a few days

before spring on March 12th.

I appreciate spring and watching things come back to life after

slumbering through the winter. The snow melts, the grass greens up,

and the trees bud out. The temperatures begin to rise, bringing us

ever closer to planting season.

Psalm 1:3 (NLT) - "They are like trees planted along the riverbank,

bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper

in all they do.

Writing Prompt: What does spring look like in your life? Is there new life

or are you still burrowed beneath the surface? Write about it.

COMING UP: During the March meeting, we welcome Eric Rasmussen as

he comes to speak with us about Barstow & Grand, Eau Claire's own

literary journal. Come learn more about this project, your opportunities,

and other publishing outlets.

See you at the March meeting!
