April 2018

Deuteronomy 11:18:  Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them

as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.

What are some of your fondest Easter memories?  Did you attend the Easter vigil?

The sunrise service?  Did you dye Easter eggs?  Have an Easter egg hunt?  Wear an

Easter bonnet?  Hide Easter baskets?  Did you sign Alleluia?

Writing Prompt:  Write about the promise of life after death.  What would have

happened if you got to the tomb and the stone was rolled back?  Would you have

believed?  Or would you have been a doubting Thomas?  Write about how you

celebrated the Easter season.

COMING UP:  At the April meeting we will welcome Dan Kohn as he comes to

discuss Bible studies and their use and need.  He will help us understand what is

important and how to present the material.  How do we choose a target audience?

Is it possible to span the whole spectrum of denominations or should we focus on

one?  How do you write a devotional?  Join us Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at 7:00 PM

as we learn from Pastor Dan on how to help people see the life and truth of the Bible.
